My First Blog Entry

Isn't this a particularly nice blue color? So serene, like a lake untouched by flying birds or jumping fish. As you probably know, I am an extremely strange specimen with an uncommonly unique sense of humor. I like to laugh and have fun sometimes but at other times, I know I need to be serious and contemplate the great mysteries of life. As I previously mentioned, I am definitely a rare species of Kasidy and should not be taken seriously at any point in time. To make this "blog" make a bit more sense,I have provided this wonderful little story for your enjoyment. On Friday night, I went to Arroyo Grande Park, just a short ways from my own home for the enjoyable experience of ice blocking. When I arrived (to all the participants of the activity's incredible surprise and overjoyment) and found there to be not even one block of ice on the premises, I have to admit that I did not really care. Our little group of friends (it was actually quite large but I need to be more modest) then traveled a short way to the playground area but first had to encounter a major obstacle. The hurdle that we had to run over (if you ever have the unfortunate experience of joining the track team, you will learn that you don't jump over hurdles.....you only run over hurdles. I was quite befuddled by this odd life lesson) was a large wall followed by a shorter wall. As I gracefully leaped off of the first, extremely tall brick barrier, I slipped (still amazingly gracefully) and my legs flipped over my head as I tumbled (still gracefully) over the smaller wall where I landed on my side on the concrete sidewalk below. It was an extremely impressive piece of gymnastics. There is my story...hope it was a joy for you to read it!
